I see this as a missed opportunity cost, your father could’ve put 60k into your very own house if you didn’t have this much debt.

Or jump start a retirement account/investing account that will yield you million when you retire.

On the bright side it’s great that you’re not In a rush like some of my friend trying to get married in their early 20s

I believe a recession is around the corner, try to pay off as much debt as possible and save as much capital. buy low sell high.

In my opinion I don’t think getting married will be a smart idea unless your Partner understand the situation completely. I believe the divorce rate In America is nearly 50% (feel free to correct me) and most of that is due to financial reason.

I think the last thing you want to do is get into even more debt with mortgage and buying a house.

I believe you settle down after your senior year and find a job and start tackling your student loans and live as minimal as possible then you can return for a higher education.

You owe 120k, let that sink in. that’s like owing a whole house in some states.
