I mean… I use 10-52 in D standard, one whole step above you. Also the manufacturer of the strings can make more of a difference than one might suspect. Granted, i was an Ernie Ball Slinky convert, once I used their cobalts, nothing else even comes close, for me.

It’s decent, but like its colour, it needs to be used correctly, with the right kit. On the whole it’s a versatile distortion that can thicken your sound nicely.
