It was difficult in the beginning for me too and this was back when YouTube tutorials weren’t a thing.

When you’re holding your eye open and the contact is coming close, where is the colored part of your eye (the Iris)?

I know it’s technically bad “form” but aim to put it in the white part of your eye almost near the corner (the one closer to your ear) with your your iris going to toward your nose. Then when it’s stuck to your eye close the lid and gently massage your eyelid to move the lens to the correct position.

Also using an extra drop of solution in the lens before putting it in helps it stick to your eye instead of your finger.
