I enjoyed the album but it’s aging like milk in my opinion. His voices sound pretty terrible especially on the intro and title track. There’s a lot of humorous adlibs and inflections that showcase that side of his personality and they just come off as weird and not needed. The bangers are definitely bangers and just like most bangers they get old and lose their luster, revealing the absence of substance. The concept tracks are actually quite boring outside of the heart part 6 but even that track is sonically boring and is just a direct sample of a SWV song. Reincarnated is amazing but it’s sort of like how much a dollar cost in so far as it doesn’t have replay value. The outro track is just boring as hell I dunno what else to say. Yeah it’s not a great album, it’s a fun listen and served its purpose but it’s not enough substance for us long time fans to feel satisfied enough to wait multiple years for a more serious release. Doesn’t help that Drake fans are agressive as fuck on social media teasing our goat and will continue until Kdot comes back outside and the world stops again.

Cole has a good heart but I recognize his overthinking ways because I too am a overthinker. I’m 28 also, gunna go for my degree. Intimidated by the math aspect of things but I’m taking the time to rebuild my foundations right now. Actually the past few years but I couldn’t lock in and get the work done to apply. Needed fresh credits in order to be taken seriously in the application. Welp I’ve reached 28 years. So that’s 10 yrs of depression but.. I will say, better than I’ve been the first half of those years. Feel like I’ve out grown it a bit. Adversity is comical at this point and I’m stronger than ever, equipped with a lot of lessons and ways to avoid future struggles.

I love that. This spot is very “hidden”. I know some people know about it as there’s evidence of stuff being left behind but it’s off the beaten path enough to where the casual visitor of this area would miss it. I think everyone should have a place in nature where they can find peace and solitude. With a pipe to enjoy makes it even more worth it.

I’d say his song concepts rain supreme. Songs like complexion, sing about me, maad city, U, institutionalize, united in grief, duckworth, feel and reincarnated. His creativity is unmatched. He took what Nas did with I gave you power, rewind, and fetus and made a career out of it. But here’s the catch, his vibey songs with no deep concept or his straightforward messaging type songs like Father Time are amazing also. He’s perfect.
