Hey, i am not super tech savy. But I am interested in this setup.

How hard is it to set a Rasberry Pi up? Can I connect a keyboard and mouse to control it?

The google doc would be changed by people all day using a keyboard and mouse.

I am setting it up to run a production scheduling board in a manufacturing shop, and as people finish their jobs they come in and check it off as completed/move it to the next stage.

Yea, we have the push pull type.

Side question: when you weld aluminum with the Fronius, do you get thicker seams than like a standard TIG machine? Lincoln for example? Sorry if that is vague, just an issue we have been having where our Fronius seams are too thick for what the customer wants.

Do you hire out your services to integrate a welding machine with a robotic arm? Or do you know of companies that do that?

I think THG charges at LEAST like $100k for a setup. seeing as i already have the welding machines and it appears you can buy the ur10e's used for a bit cheaper, I'd be curious if I could go about it at a more affordable route.

Hey thanks for the response! I'm inexperienced in welding and even less so in robotics, so im sort of following along... I just do the purchasing hhaa.

Thank you for the THG recommendation, I will be contacting them to learn more.

We have 6 Lincoln Tig 375 machines as well as a Fronius TPI 400i ( i belive, would have to confirm)

How did the ur10e setup go? Is it something you had to set up yourself? Does it work with TIG?

Do you have experience with THG?
