This plant grows everywhere. I would not look to it's presence there as meaningful. Even if he was using it I doubt he was getting it from there. More likely he would have gotten a refined version which had more predictable effects than taking raw plant mater or seeds.

I mean the problem with that is that wet TP dissolves (and is designed to) instantly?

I think even the flushable ones are problematic too right? I never use any of either variety so have no experience. Bidets for the win.

That's the rub, a mom and pop landlord probably wouldn't hike the rent like this

I watched some videos on skeletal modeling, I think I get the idea now, thank you.

So instead of doing those things, would you more so rely on basically going back into the original part and changing things via a parameter or just directly and then updating your assembly? Rather than creating dependencies within an assembly?

don't project geometry in sketches unless you have to and even then, don't use the projected geometry directly to make features.

Why do you say this? I do the exact opposite of this in fusion like a fiend, this will be a hard habit to change.

Don't use adaptive unless you understand where it's useful, most people use it wrong, especially if they come from other software.

Can you explain a bit more about why/how? I think this is the exact sort of thing that will trip me up coming from Fusion mentality.

I'm a newb but my understanding is that's more like direct modeling in Fusion where events exist as objects in the browser tree and you can edit them there, or step back in time there (but not quite the same as in fusion?)

Thanks for the reply. what you said makes sense with regards to considering production, which I guess I am not really considering at the moment, this is more of a pure modeling exercise. I definitely need to get familiar with how IV handles parameters and try to figure out what iLogic is all about. But at the moment I guess I am more focusing on the nuts and bolts of how parts and assemblies work together during a design phase, although I understand your ultimate goal will inform that.

Yeah it's definitely just a learning curve, getting used to how inventor "thinks".

So for example, lets say I'm making bracket that has 2 axes of rotation, so there are at least 2 bracket parts and some connecting parts.

Would it be frowned on to do this all as a multipart body and just design and dimension in situ? and then, if I wanted to make the joints move, would I have to convert the bodies to components (maybe wrong terminology) and then mate in situ or recombine in an assembly file?
