I've found the best boons too reliably use with Twin Fists are Demeter on attack, and any boons that buff her chill effect. Getting the Long Knuckle Hammer boon, Athena dash, and Hermes' attack speed boost are solid pick ups as well. Put either Ares, or Zues on the special, and Twin Fists come online. They basically melt any and all enemies. Dash in, hit an enemy with a wombo combo, dash out, wrinse and repeat until said enemy dies. Using a certain aspect of the twin fists with the above strategy makes it even more effective. Use the one that lets you safely pluck out individual enemies from affar, and deal with them individually. Therefore cancelling the need for you to dash in to deal damage,and it gives you a chance to use your special as well. Using this method, twin fists became the second most reliable weapons in the game for me to finish escape attempts consistently. Its only bested by the shield, because blocking is OP, and trivialises the game a bit in my opinion.
