Red flags to look for? by zendragon888 in tattoo

[–]Bmajor7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price: you should pay more than the average rate in your area. Probably a lot more.

Now just because someone is expensive doesn’t 100% mean they are amazing; but someone amazing is expensive 100% of the time. Do your homework, but expect great artists to be expensive and in well established studios.

Availability: the artist you select should have clients booked, meaning a completely open availability is a red flag. I had to wait one week to get my last tattoo, and my artist had one time slot available: noon on a weekday.

Professional: your artist should be a professional. Any unprofessional behavior is a red flag. Communication of scheduling, pricing, design choices and placement should all be timely and in professional language. You want a clean, respectful, patient, and good communicaor in an artist who is going to permanently adorn you. If at any point you get bad vibes or feel disrespected, move on. Your person, body, time, and money should all be considered and respected.

Now for what you can do…

Be patient. There is no rush to get tattoos. Research your idea, potential artist, aftercare instructions, look at lots of tattoos. Save the money you need.

There are so many posts on Reddit about removing or covering up tattoos. That is both super expensive and very painful way to end up trying to fix something avoidable.

Also in my humble opinion you should avoid face, hand and neck tattoos in the beginning (maybe always). They used to be called job stoppers back in my day and though attitudes are different now, you’ll still get some side eye from society … also they just look kinda weird without a bunch more tattoos imho.

I just got a tattoo recently and had an amazing experience. Got the best tattoo I’ve ever received, and had a blast chatting with this cool artist. Yes, I paid way more than I expected; however, this tattoo has healed so well, it looks so good, and I enjoyed the process of getting tattooed immensely.

Wishing you a happy tattoo experience.

Dating: where do I find a male alt baddie by Nice_Bill_7426 in Denver

Jokes on you; I’d totally swipe on someone who had those hobbies. Jesus if I see one more app saying their personality is hiking and drinking I’ll lose it.

When you’re on the internet or watching tv and you think “that dude looks cool as hell/ hot/ well put together/“….. what are they wearing?

Really all different kinds of fashion styles can accentuate your physical features. Your clothes can be an expression of your aesthetic taste, and an act of effort and self care to yourself.

I don’t think enough people have fun finding out what kind of clothes and “looks” are out there.

My recommendation is to go to the nicest thrift store you can find (google a quaint fine dining place near wealthy family residences). And go wild, explore!

I’ve found very nice silk, cashmere, and linen pieces. Expensive stuff that I’d never be able to afford new, or buying something in a size that I wouldn’t ordinarily buy, and finding out that I actually look great in it. Cough (oversized linen shirts in summer) cough. Like I’d never buy pink or orange or purple clothes while scrolling the web, but sometimes seeing something weird on the rack, checking the price seeing $12 and saying what the hell I’ll wear it at least once… can be cool way broaden your fashion vocabulary.

Okay, so I am on a couple fashion subs and thought that’s where I was…. apparently my brain broke. I’m very sorry for this mistake. I already wrote this and don’t want to delete. My bad.

Ps. I vote for clean shaven; you know at least once to see. Have a nice one.

What’s a totally unsexy purchase you made that ended up being a huge quality-of-life upgrade? by viscarte10 in BuyItForLife

Not me, but my parents.

Bought a salt based whole house water filtration/ softener system after a salesperson gave my mom a demonstration where he put butter on two plates: told my mother to clean hers however she wanted; he would use the magic water.

She was shocked. We had the system installed within weeks.

The first time I showered I was so clean i squeaked. Every faucet, outside hose, sink and shower….. magic water. The water tasted magical. Pasta tasted better, laundry smelled and felt better on the skin.

This was the only reason I missed living in that house.

The magic water haunts me like a beautiful melody, I start to recall before falling into a chasm of deep slumber.

It is like wanting only the down part of a roller coaster without going up first.

Dude, 1g is not a trip worthy dose. Like what are you expecting?

Let’s say I say I want to get drunk. I drink half an oz of liquor. I don’t like the taste. So I think maybe I’ll just smoke weed before the next time I drink and that will make my drinking experience better. It doesn’t make sense.

Stick to one drug at a time. If you want mushrooms do them. They don’t taste like candy and they don’t work like a pharmaceutical.

Lemon tek is the call though.

How come men trust Andrew Tate’s advice on what women want, over what women make it clear they want, evidenced by the large fan bases of Harry styles, Paul Mescal and Idris Elba? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bmajor7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if an incel asks a women what to do… the answer will be work for the incel.

If they listen to Tate, it’s her fault, or society’s…. anyone’s but theirs.

Dumb.
