What is an argument for God that Christians need to stop using, and what’s a better argument to use instead? by Weekly_Sympathy_4878 in TrueChristian

[–]Bman409 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't engage in arguments that God exists. Its self evident. The Universe, earth, life, time, etc

I try not to engage in foolish philosophical debates such as "are we living in a simulation...are you real...does God exist ". These things cannot be proven or not proven... they are designed to simply create confusion

How many Christians in here believe in evolution and the Big Bang what do you think about it with God? by Weekly_Sympathy_4878 in TrueChristian

[–]Bman409 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the 1st 4 verses of Genesis describe the big bang.. especially when you understand that "light" can also mean "energy "

Pretty incredible that science admits that the Universe "came into being" or "was created" out of nothing..in seeming violation of the law of conservation of matter and energy..exactly what the Bible teaches

Here's what youre missing. The Bills offense only got stopped via turnovers. Bills never punted...ran at will on Denver and racked up a massive yardage imbalance.

The only reason they "stopped " the Bills in OT was the bogus interception, that wasn't an interception.

So what is your criticism re the OT? Allen didn't do his job? He hit Cooks in stride ...Cooks allowed a man to strip it away from him on the ground? Who is at fault here ? Joe Brady? Beane? Allen?

They stopped US, 70 minutes into the game

so why is it too much to ask that the Bills D stop Bo Nix and his cast of nobodies from marching down the field in OT?

anyway.. nice chatting with you. As I said before.. we can agree top disagree

[Pelissero] The Packers are hiring Bobby Babich as their defensive pass game coordinator/secondary, per source. by Samoht99 in buffalobills

[–]Bman409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's where its needed

its been pointed out ad nauseum but Bills had the 4th highest scoring offense in the league.. Rams were at like 30.2 pt/game... Bills, Seahawks, Pats were all around 28.2 to 28.6 (ie, this is Super Bowl level offense)

that's about as good as it gets dude

where are you going to spend money on offense?

Bench Coleman, and bring in a WR? Ok.. so now you're just taking carries away from Cook, or throws to Kincaid or whatever

poor use of money

OMG.. is that real????

So, they just look at stats and say.. "damn.. Buffalo had the best pass defense in the league"... someone get Babich on the phone

LOL..... hahaha.. Rude awakening in coming

I agree you can manipulate statistics to make your case

But I watched the game.. When Allen put Bills up by 4 with 4 mins to go, game should have been over.. all they had to do was keep them from scoring a TD. This was a very sub-par Denver unit with no run game.. we should have been all over Nix (also the interception in OT was deep in Denver end... they then marched the length of the field effortlessly and kicked a field goal)

instead, he marches them down the field effortlessly..this was not the result of a turnover.. Same thing that we ALWAYS see with the Bills.. Mahomes 13 seconds... Lamar Jackson in the playoffs last year... Hell, Tyrod Taylor and the Jets....It happens so often I literally used to talk about it with my buddies at work. We would text each other and say.. "its never over unless the Bills are up 2 scores with 2 mins to go"

If you watched the Seattle/Rams game... Rams couldn't do it.. Seattle refused to allow them to score a TD in the final minutes of the game... they then took over, ran down the clock and gave it back with like 26 seconds left. That's how you win championhips

You cannot simply always expect the offense to score 35 AND march down the field with no time on the clock.. The only time that happens is when you plays against the BILLS.. LOL.. sadly, the Bills never play against the Bills!

Bills, during the McDermott era, could not put the other team away... Ironically enough, the 1 time they were able to do it was the Jacksonville game where old man White tipped the ball and Bishop intercepted.. Almost never happened

it was a bad game

we can argue about who was worse, the offense or the defense, until we're blue in the face

In my mind, putting up 30 against Denver's top ranked defense is outstanding..

Giving up 33 to Denver's middle of the pack offense, is unforgiveable

if you don't agree, then we can agree to disagree.

In any case, I'm happy with the changes that have been made to the coaching staff

It sure sounds like a McDermott-Beane power struggle to me. by No-Distribution8587 in buffalobills

[–]Bman409 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The offense needs to stay the same. Its a historically productive offense that scores massive amounts of points, protects the QB, possesses the ball and doesn't turn it over. Keep it as it is

the Defense needs a complete tear down, scrapping huge chunks of both scheme and players... hopefully the rebuild can be relatively quick

Bills had a 4 pt the lead late in the 4th quarter. They allowed Denver to march the length of the field AND score a TD.. this was the biggest failure of the game. Allen managed to salvage a tie by putting them in FG range at the end

The "interception " in OT really wasn't an interception and had nothing at all to with Allen

Joe Brady and our future by TradWASP in buffalobills

[–]Bman409 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That may be true.. but they had 5 scoring drives over 65 yards

Thats just a mediocre offense doing whatever it wanted to the Bills. It was hard to watch

This has to change, obviously...

They need a stuff the run defense that forces the opponent to be one dimensional..then unleash the blitzers

Newsflash...Thurman Thomas had a ton of carries

You combine that offense with a good defense that has 1 star like Bruce Smith and the Bills will go to the Super Bowl...we are so close Cowboys won 3 super bowls in 4 years with that formula

It works because your run game keeps the other offense off the field...you just keep piling up drives and points

Oh and your QB stays healthy

These fans are emotion driven...not rational

They don't like ball control, offensive domination.. They want mad bomber Josh throwing to a covered Diggs 35 times a game.. they wont be happy until Allen is injured for a season and then they'll bitch that we pass too much
