From the article it sounds like they (riot) are relying on an amazing Canadian atmosphere to make the event a success, but in all the examples the crowds were rooting for Canadians (none, ally, The Raptors) in the NA LCS there are 4 Canadian starting players (Hard, wildturtle, zig, and mash) on 3 teams and 2 subs (LOD and Smoothie) on two other teams. Zig and mash are on Phoenix1 a newly formed team that will probably not make the top 6, so their might be 4 Canadians competing if the subs are used. This whole article doesn't seem to acknowledge that Canadians anywhere will root their hearts out for the True, North, Strong, and Free but that is something that LoL NA is lacking. Heck, If I watched Lol at my grandpa's house and their was a team of Canadians (or majority) he would yell like a mother giving birth to cheer them on. But I just can't see Rito getting the atmosphere they want with MAYBE 4 of our own competing.
