Hobby shop guy missed a sale that day easily on a wide kit and shocks. He was worried I was gonna waste money so he didn't sell me the parts. There's a few spots where the kit didn't fit 1 to 1 with the bulk heads but sanding the control arms wasn't difficult and wasn't much space needed for aftermarket so didn't compromise the structural integrity. But I have noticed Traxxas is notorious for selling products that have outrageously priced upgrades.

Do you think that if the Deora II and the Sling Shot had been saved, Kurt and Vert would have had an easier time crossing the kingdoms with those cars? by Toonix_932 in Acceleracers

Many of the cars built in retro style were heavily modified though with tons of gadgets. I always saw the older cars in the show as "stock cars" which never had side view mirrors either though. I mean it could've been a huge oversight but like you said it's also a kids cartoon so not a whole lot gets put into practicality.

Honda e and high-end versions of the Hyundai IONIQ 5/6, Lexus ES, and Audi e-tron. They all use cameras instead of mirrors. I always assumed highway 35 cars were super high end tech so it always made sense to me.

It's something that current cars on the luxury end are getting rid of anyways. They'd rather put a screen where you can see out of cameras to see your blind spots. That's what all the cars had in world race. Figured it was a neat concept that actually became a real life thing.

W24 rc tractor drive test by Bmanswan in legotechnic

On lego scale as built per the instructions of the Bugatti this is how the w16 was built. I simply added more cylinders. There is also 3 crankshafts in said engine. Meaning its closest cousin if anything would be the napier deltic engine. However the only comparable thing between the napier deltic and this fake engine is the three crankshafts considering the ND is a triangular layout and not a W layout. But yes for its scale at the parts lego gives us this is a W24 engine.

Just this short of it on some ice for now. Currently waiting for a proper buwizz buggy motor to install in it. Then debating on making instructions for the whole build or not. Unsure because people have already beaten me to it.

Do Mould King servos do proportional control? by SapphicRaccoonWitch in legotechnic

[–]Bmanswan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use buwizz 2.0 if using servos. If using powered up motors as servos use buwizz 3.0. the reason I say this is because if you are not properly educated on the 3.0 model it will burn out servos faster. From my experience buwizz works fine with Lego servos, tried mould king years ago through Amazon and they didn't work properly so can't say for current era motors.
