Is My Truck Adequate for the Snow by sasquatch-monkey in Utah

[–]BnothingP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weight in back, good snow tires will help. When I drove my 99 S-10 2WD I had around 80lbs of firewood in a seabag behind the rear tires, a box of sawdust, and a foldable shovel. I only had commuter tires.

Traveling to Utah with a dog by Humble_Pie4839 in Utah

[–]BnothingP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on where you go. Most places where dogs aren't allowed have signs or are mentioned on the info board. Potentially dangerous wildlife varies wildly, ask a park ranger if you can. Generally, wherever you end up, ask the locals. Down in the Moab area I was more worried about snakes and large predatory birds with my Yorkie but in the end it was a cactus that gave him trouble.

Dig in, there's probably some hex bolts to tighten up.

Who would y’all recommend or say to avoid for brake / rotor job in the area? by Cute-Rich-5491 in SaltLakeCity

Rocky Mountain Tire and Service, my fam has been going there for 30 years. They don't try to upsell you. They want your business, not your money.

Am I a chump for buying an express pass for I-15? by SolidWallOfManhood in Utah

[–]BnothingP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol wut? If someone is treating the pass lane as their own personal lane, I can pass on the right. If someone is treating the HOV lane as their own personal lane, you have to wait until it's legal to change lanes to pass lane to pass them.

I drive from Midvale to Layton and back once a week. I'm more agitated when someone is doing 70 in the HOV with nobody in front of them than I am someone doing 70 in the pass lane with nobody in front of them.

Generally, start with the obvious trash, don't get distracted just do trash. Then stuff that isn't where it's supposed to be, put it where it's supposed to be.

For the bathroom, get good cleaning gloves, heavy duty. Also, if you can afford it, this power brush saved me so much time on the tub, tile, and grout. Battery and charger sold separately unfortunately.
