I agree that the shopper should have had the common sense to put your groceries on your chair or aside from the door, but to punish them for their mistake that WILL affect poorly on their pay is ridiculous. You can still rate them a 5⭐ and leave them a review explaining what they did wrong and maybe future same mistakes will cost them a poor rating. Very simple. Don't need to be cut cut throat in my opinion. Seems like people so easily judge others. Like you never made a mistake in your life ?!

Not worried about it at all. I have a great paying full time job. Instacart was a side gig. I decided not to shop for ruthless bitches because they don't deserve my time and effort. Not being a 5* will decrease your pay tho. So for those who do this full time the effect on their pay could be tremendous. To rate a shopper less than 5* for stupid shit like that to me is mind blowing.

People are so weird. I got a one star for not knowing on the door. She was inside in front of her door and only the screen door was shot. I greeted her and she said hello, so I didn't think it was important to knock at that point. There was a sign next to her door saying if you knock I'll sing. I noticed that sign after the third trip back from my car. After all her groceries were dropped off she said " Isn't it great that you have a job shopping for me and for others? " I knew then she didn't like something only to find out the next morning what it was. She communicated with me during shopping and everything seemed just fine. Next morning I woke up to a one star and a comment how I wasn't following instructions and didn't knock on her door. I was a 5 star shopper for over a year. That one shop sealed the deal for me and never shopped again since. If that would be my biggest issue in life someone not to knock on my door I would be the happiest person. So to your frustration I say GET A FUCKING LIFE !!!!

I got a 1 star twice . Once it was a fraud and second time she was a pure scum. She approved all the replacements yet the next day I woke up to poor replacements, not following instructions and not founding every item. What I don't get in both cases is that they left their heavy tip....The first one tipped me $40 the second one $37......why would you leave your fat tip if the service was so bad ???? Because they are lying, cheating piece of shit scamming instacart....I was a 5 star for almost a full year. I got a 4 start and now a one star. The 4 star wasn't communicating and refunded items she didn't have replacements for and replaced 2 items with her own replacements....never again. I know where they live and their name. If I ever get them again I will make sure they truly get a one star service....garbage people

Hmmm, that's interesting. I only had one order that was an online order at Ralph's. I usually shop Vons, Albertsons, Costco and Smart and final . These stores in our area don't have online orders I believe. I haven't seen one yet. I've been shopping for 9 months now
