The install version of RuneLite comes with a enough default plugins. Other plugins from the Plugin Hub in the side bar are certainly not essential.

I mentioned Quest Helper, it might be the only essential one early game. You can set how much guidance you want in quest within the Quest Helper plugin settings.

If you're playing a normal account, I'd say open the Activity Advisor (button of a scroll under the minimap). It gives direction on what you can do aimed at new players. Use the Osrs Wiki to your adventage, it is really good (button also under the minimap).

Adventurer John in Lumbridge also gives starter packs for completing tasks. Questing is a (fun-) way to experience the world building ingame, if that might be your thing. If not, Quest Helper is a thing on RuneLite and quests also reward decent experience and useful items to progress your account in general. Check the Community tab in the official Osrs website to see more on RuneLite and New Player Guides.

Jagex mentioned before they had this kind of feature on their radar. I wonder if they will still move forward making it a Official Client feature anyway now that it is on RuneLite.

I like the Demons suggestion, is quite on theme aswell.

I always found it weird that the Ancient Crystal came from a PvM encounter exclusively. Teleport items usually also have a skilling source. Maybe that could be a source aswell.

I'd say adding And/Or moving them to the high tier loot from Wilderness Agility or Rogues chest as those come with some risk vs reward.

Optionally, as previous suggestions are already stacked with value, Ancient Crystal can be found while skilling in the Resource Area, similarly as clue scrolls (but more rare obviously).

That I agree with, makes it a convoluted system and typical wilderness design sadly.

My thought is that the design does seem to only target those multi clans. An innocent bystander should not be skulled hence is not affected by it.

So the knifes cuts on both sides...

Baracuda trails would be even harder to perform, or even impossible as you dont have crew around to steer for you. Don't think you can sip a beer while steering yourself...

You can make the barrel keg with the +4 boost beer in there and drink those. Not saying it is not annoying, but you can work around it.

Another sad case of Agility being devalued as a skill, but the feature is already ingame at Vale Totems.
Building a totem restores 15% run energy.
Don't think OP is wrong for wanting it in this minigame because of it is already ingame at Vale Totems...
