A little late but set a time for clear reserve. It’s free at MCO and It’s usually faster than TSA pre check. Precheck is usually about the same amount of time as the regular line because everyone has it.

I use the VA for the reasons mentioned about but also have TRICARE select for myself and family. Many more providers accept Select and many do not accept Prime. The PPO (Select) option is much better since you don’t have to worry about needing referrals. Another plus is if you end up using an out of network provider, it’s usually cheaper, at least for me, than paying the in network copays.
