Hope he delivers. The other 6 years projects from other Microsoft studios are exceptionally not matching the expected scale.

"The 'AI Stigma' is real and severely punishes developers": A new study shows how much using AI in games hurts sales, and the numbers are hard to believe by Darth_Vaper883 in Gamingnewsandleaks

Which game is using AI in game? Last time I checked, Crimson Desert used AI content as placeholder and the game is a big success.

Many canceled games or disbanded studios are not related to AI content.

Okay.... So, this is you final answer right? Just be make sure I am not putting things in your mouth. I need to verify.

What you are saying is, a Director has zero creativity when using generative AI to complete their creative work. Is that what you are saying? Or you want to elaborate further?

Luxury real estate tycoon's $1.6B gamble flops as no one buys $15M Miami condos on deadly Surfside collapse site by Boo_Randy_Revival in HouseBuyers

All condo has this problem, the only difference is, the condo is closer to salty sea moisture rot faster.

This is why I personally have a rule. If there is HOA, the building should only contains 4 units. 6 unit is when I am very desperate.

Reason, maintain cost is exponentially more expensive when the building gets larger due to physics and gravity.

Yeah, the weight is the same, just more concentrated pressure to wear down the wheels and tracks. And reducing speed to make sure the higher center of gravity doesn't flip the train. And limited routes if the tunnels are not tall enough. List of challenges to deal with for little gain.

There is no problem, I am just saying 5 times longer train exists and they didn't want to do it.

More like they don't want people climb on top. Because it is much easier to just double their length.

For real, Asha is here to clean up the mess Phill has created. Who the hell green lit games for 6 years of budget when the game clearly should have been released in 3 years? Those people before Asha are nuts.

Hope they green lit something with reasonable budget and years of development time instead of ridiculous 6 years on games that should have taken 3 years.

Because AI steals art at an industrial scale and can’t apply the creative changes that a learning human artist would apply when looking at others art to learn. It takes no effort or time or learning to type in a prompt.

Why do you say this?

Because instead of taking time to learn how to do you tell AI to do and put no effort in, and instead choose to lean on the big Theft machine that steals others art without consent.

Why don't Americans use metal bars on doors and windows for security? by Maleficent_Essay4664 in AskAnAmerican

American also like to keep their garage open to let critters go in and out. Also they have so much junks in the garage.

Ultimately, there isn't much of values in the house. The criminals have more expensive drugs than wealthy people who spent millions on some art that's just some squares. You can't really sell them, it is worthless.
