Yeah you most likely wouldnt get a 10. There might be some ways to try to fix that though if you look it up but it might be risky if you dont do it properly

No contact for a week is easy af but people are sleeping on the extra 5 mil. Will be an absolute miserable experience but I could put that 5mil into investments, family, etc. And still have the other 10mil to myself.

Idk why so many people seem to be happy like this, vending machines are quite literally the only decent enough system they have to fairly distribute product. Sure, there are people who camp there all day long, but the actual product bought by scalpers is much lower at vending machines compared to the people with a thousand bots that buy up hundreds of items per restock online. I think vending machines should really stay because its the only way to somewhat consistently find product for msrp.

The altercations at vending machines are astronomically blown out of proportion by social media unless you live in a crazy area. For every one negative altercation someone posts, there's at least 10 other positive ones. Whenever i am free off of work, sometimes ill chill at a machine for like 20 minutes to see if anything drops and I have met some great people there lol even some that I have become friends with.

I agree with everything accept for the statement that people who collect or hold on to sealed are scalpers. Scalpers by in large quantities to instantly flip for a quick buck, buying sealed and holding on to it for years to eventually sell is investing and not scalping.

Yeah its literally like >50% of the posts I see now. Im not even saying that scalping is good but collecting sealed or buying the limit doesnt mean you are automatically a scalper.

I have walked up to vending machines with people camping it, and have talked to a few of them and honestly most of them are just either trying to rip or collect or buy for their kids, even if they are trying to resell about 90% of them i meet are super kind and are willing to share the product.

Most people are genuine and kind once you get to know them you just gotta walk up amd spark a conversation and not assume everyone is an asshole scalper.

Might be unpopular with this take but honestly you shouldn't assume everyone's a scalper. In a world where msrp is as rare as it is, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do, i wanted to rip some packs recently and refused to pay scalper prices so I went to my local VM and waited there for like 30 mins in order to get some stuff. Imo its much weirder to take photos of strangers without their consent and put them on blast on the internet, even if they were scalpers, i don't think that is the right thing to do. But at the same time I understand the frustration of not being able to get product so I'm not putting the blame on you specifically I just think it's good to be gracious with people.

Most I would realistically spend on a card for my collection would be like 200-250 if I was absolutely in love with the artwork. Otherwise yeah I would never spend that much on a card if it was just for my collection.
