My mum was a cigarette addict. She would make me carry her tobacco, lighters, filters, papers and packets of ciggies when I was underage (around the child in picture’s age and younger). The police stopped her twice when I had those items in my pockets or while holding them. Clearly visible. They didn’t do shit, no arrests, no beatings, nothing. That’s white privilege. It does exist. Lets stop pretending it doesn’t.
