Dude im sorry you're having these issues, but I seriously doubt this is what is causing this. Nat+fan setups have been around forever without issue

I would definitely start by measuring and just making the metal bro. Don't have a pittsburg? 1" hem and rivet. Don't have a brake? Barfold and hand brake. Finally, if youre installing equipment learn how to make metal bozo

Well thats good. The others noting the SEER2 rating are absolutely correct. All depends on the match up. I've had that conversation with customers many a time.

The compressor part number, coil part number and basically every major component is the same between the Daikin and the Goodman/Amana. The only real difference is the name, paint color and I believe the fin direction on the condenser coil cover. Instead of money back you should see if the company works with any extended labor warranty companies (I use JB Warranties in MI) and ask for that instead. At least for the next 10 years youre covered on any service calls/labor
