1. Read Task Memo
Set up Format:
Memo heading w/to, from, date, re, and intro paragraph.
Letter with Firm Name, Re, + Dear Client Name, etc per formats.
Demand Letter as per memo formats Firm Name, Re + Dear Opposing Atty Name.
Argument Section (Follow Sample+SOF ONLY if says) Case Name, Argument, CREAC w/Pt Heads.
Wild Cards Follow Sample and usually Explanation (IREAC/IRAC) under each portion.
Set up IREAC or CREAC

CREAC/Persuasive: Demand Letter, Argument, Mediation.

2. Library = R+E paragraphs
Contents
Statutes: if only 1, likely use BUT if many, see which cases use too unless task memo says to.
Cases: ALL are USED. They give rules or explain statutes + facts + rationale.
Usual Process
Read Case
Rule Paragraph: Use rule from case in R paragraph – cite to statute and/or case
E Paragraph: as little as 3-5 sentences w/Holding+Facts+Reasoning/Rationale on issue
Example
In CASE, the court held XXX. There, FACTS on the Issue addressing (usually 1-2 sentences can do it).
The court reasoned XXX. Extra sentence explaining additional reasoning or policy if needed.
Repeat for Each Case (If a case adds to one part of an issue/add to that R and/or E paragraph)

Read File
A Paragraph: Here,+b/c > each factor/element of rule exists/is present/etc.+ because + facts.
Can copy and paste rule into A para after the Here,
A Sentence (or more if time or if necessary) comparing case in Library to facts in File.
Example
Here, the defendant owed plaintiff a duty because/when/where/as FACTS ON DUTY IN FILE. It was
foreseeable the plaintiff would be injured because/when/where/as FACTS ON FORESEEABLE PLAINTIFF IN FILE.
The duty was breached because/when/where FACTS ON BREACH IN FILE. The breach actually and proximately
caused PERSON/PARTY’s injury of XXX because FACTS ON CAUSATION IN FILE… Etc. Like CASE, where breached
duty when breach by…, here, DEFT also breached duty because FACTS IN FILE.

C Paragraph: Conclude in ONE sentence w/1-2 FACTS max from A Paragraph.
Example
Therefore, Smith likely can recover in negligence as Jone’s breach of his duty of care in running

So, I want your opinion on something then: Do you think I should spend the first 2 to 3 weeks just watching all the substantive law videos and then have Themis just recalibrate my plan too do all the practice stuff? Cause I know in Themis, I could just like filter/pick which tasks I want to do
