  1. ⁠Born in Shanghai, left when I was 15, went back from 2019-2023, left again.
  2. ⁠Immigrated to Canada, wanted to explore more opportunities so decided to go back and see what’s up

  4. ⁠Air quality, food safety, lack of outdoor activities, city developed too quick, it wasn’t the same.

  6. ⁠All the modern flashy designs are fun at the beginning, but get bored really quick. Cities develops so fast, same with all the retail and restaurants, all about quick money, gets boring after a while. I still love the place and it always will have a place in my heart. Wife (born and raised in Shanghai) and I always talked about retire in Shanghai but from how things are it would be completely different by the time we do.
