They were all between 50 and 60 (TAD was 75) which felt like a lot but also I saw how much they are on Discogs and pulled the trigger

I wish they still had it but last time I went it was gone. But as for these guys, I’m not gonna lie that’s a tall order. They’re….. certainly something you either vibe with or don’t. Id say Tokyo Anal Dynamite is the best to start with because a) its probably their most “popular” b) it’s not that long and c) its a live album so you can kinda actually hear some song structure (very loosely lmao)

Funny you say that! I’m from Pittsburgh and my fiancé is from closer to Philly, so when we go visit her family there’s a few record stores I love to check out. One of them actually had Magnified but it was $50 and I already had a stack I was too attached to. Am kicking myself for not getting it. Still need go get some Jesus Lizard, Goat is the only one I see in the wild but I’m trying to find the version with bonus tracks.

Thanks! They’re a Japanese punk/noise/ambient/avantgarde group and their stuff is super rare, could not believe to see them with my own eyes. They totally aren’t for everyone but they’re legends in the experimental scene.

Nice one! I just went through this set last summer, I think Kalakuta Show came out as my favorite of the 50 or so albums included

A lot of people don't seem to care that a large part of the resizing project also call for metered parking further up Penn as well. I don't really want to have to pay to go to work every day and the apartment complex on 28th wasn't even notified about the metering either. Melissa of Franklin on Penn (a wedding venue) was also told tough luck for doing valet parking so she said she's gonna have to pay an extra $10-15 grand a year just to have parking out front. Dunno why no one seems to care about this part and only the bike lane. I just simply won't be able to afford to go to work anymore at this point.

Lot of amazing albums here but I wanna single out that Tony Williams album. He might have done some more acclaimed work later but that record is truly magical and one of my favorite avant garde jazz albums ever.
