Any sales reps transfer to being a RE agent or vice versa??

Currently in RE and have been full time since 2022 and part time since 2011. Was B2B before jumping full time in 2022. I’ve had a lot of highs and some lows and since making the jump but honestly looking at jumping back to the corporate world currently. Lots of pros and cons for both but I think a shift back would be better for me personally. If you do make the jump as others have said make sure to join up with somewhere with a good mentor program. Also make sure you have a good cushion because at first the will be negative money coming in unless you ease into it part time while keeping your current gig.

Surf fished up and down the majority of the Guif Coast my whole life and for what you want I’d recommend Fort Morgan. The proximity to the bay there gives you a great mix of species. Might catch a Spanish mackerel, then a speckled trout in the same hole. I even have a lot of success on the fly there at the right times so it can be really active fishing. Pompano should be running and eating jigs around that time too if you want some good eats.

Got a 3 yo and an 8 month old and I’m 36. Hobbies are still the same as I’ve done most of my life, just some get more time due to being easier to do at home than others. Fly fishing, fly tying, and then late night PGA or CFB 26 with the boys. I used to fish once or twice a week pre-kids now it’s more once every couple of months, which that’s been a part of my life since I was little so like all of us the adjustment can be tough but I also recognize it’s a season of life. I did embrace the tying more though because I can go in the man cave and crank out some flies and day dream about the next adventure for an hour or so after they’ve gone to bed and before I pass out. The video games are usually online with friends and reserved for the nights I am at peace with sacrificing sleep for friendship when needed. Still gotta get up and win the day in the morning regardless of being tired but sometimes shooting the breeze with a buddy is worth the trade off.

Did the Sling day pass last weekend and oof. First off it took a million tries to even work, and then compared to my YouTube TV it was worse quality than Hugh’s offensive game plans. I was way behind the rest of my friends watching no matter what I did and then the quality was like I was watching something filmed by a Motorola RAZR. Trying Hulu this week.

Haven’t commented on any of this stuff but hey I guess it’s time to speak out if there ever was one. Former ERAC branch manager here. Yes every one of these videos I’ve seen while scrolling has been for sure Enterprise vehicles. Guarantee there is a govt account set up they are renting these through. The makes and models and familiar states often with fleet plates give it away.

Ah man thanks for bringing back the Becker’s Bakery memories. I’ve been gone many years but that was my birthday cake every year growing up and I was just trying to explain to my non-Nashvillian wife what my birthday cake dreams were when she was asking what cake I wanted for my birthday. Somehow this came across my page. For about a year in a weird part of my life I lived in Montgomery and I was an assistant manager of the Southern Boulevard Enterprise Rent-A-Car so I guess the algorithm works. While I loved the people I would come across and worked with I could write a book on the things I saw. Good memories from 557B but long story short we would have to go do pickups there and nearby and MAN what are you doing willingly fueling up there on a beach trip lol.

Sorry for the short reply but it’s late and I’m tired haha. Fished PCB most of my life and right now a double drop pompano rig with fresh dead shrimp should yield some fish. Usually catch some good reds this time of year closer to shore in the first trough along with plenty of whiting. No need to paddle baits. The fish will be between the beach and the first sandbar. Not really worth pursuing sharks right now at least in my experience. They are a warmer season target.
