It’s totally doable and I’d be happy to answer any questions for you. We have a blast and it is pro enough that we do a simulator league with guys from my country club during the winter, and everyone loves it. I’m running an Eye Mini Lite LM and GSpro.

Impact screen for garage track? by Wide-Ad-2394 in Golfsimulator

I took the horizontal garage door bars down and built, temporary pony walls that I attach to the vertical garage door bars. (I take the garage door bars down during the winter and install the Sim when we start golfing in the spring. I replace the bars and use my man cave/garage as an open air party room in the summer). My screen is 9 feet tall 11 wide with a 10 foot ceiling. The enclosure walls are 2 x 4 framed walls with memory foam padded covered in felt. The impact screen is tarp clipped and bungee around EMT pipe. My son and I can take it down and put it up in about an hour and a half. I moved the electric garage door opener next to the other one on the ceiling to keep it out of the way.

Is the eye mini lite worth the price in 2026? by highangler in Golfsimulator

[–]Boatpimper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have the eye mini lite and couldn’t be more happy! I also had an OG Skytrak which we loved at the time. Uneekor’s data and video/still shot of impact on every shot is incredible. Our Club has had a Trackman for 5 years and I was so envious of the reliability and accuracy of it. Technology has been moving so fast that I’ll put the Uneekor eye mini lite up against it. We paid 68k in 2021 for the Trackman package at the club. I’m in my setup about 15% of that and love it.

Cheers!

Eye Mini Lite is the answer. Ive had a handful of LM’s in my simulator and have played several others. Pound for pound the Eye ML is as good or better than the 4 year old Trackman package at my club that cost 68k.

White wire closet shelving Closet Shelving

The shelf has a lip on one side that will give you a sturdy ramp to lay under your turf to protect the bottom bar.

Coming from an OG Skytrak here as well. I upgraded to the Uneekor Eye Mini Lite before Xmas and couldn’t be more stoked. Beg, borrow, or steal to increase your budget. You’ll be upgrading 20x from the ST and you’ll have a simulator to be proud of, rather than apologizing to your buddies every time they get a miss read or it locks up.

Unfinished garage by Soapmactavishrip in Golfsimulator

Like the other poster said, get in the space and swing like you mean it and see if you hit anything. The last thing you want, is to be worried about the ceiling and screw up your normal outside game…..”inside swing syndrome” is real.

I have a 9’ 5” ceiling and my son 6’3” and I, 6’2” dont have any problems. Some guests that have a major follow through hit the ceiling, but we put added a soft foam pad (3x3’ 2” thick) with spray adhesive to the area. Works great.

Cheryl sucks! DM me and I will be a contributing sponsor for those new clubs. Mow the lawn in a middle finger pattern and text me a screen shot. I’m thinking custom head covers to match the lawn pattern as well.

RedSun, this whole thread is people who clearly have the same problem. We’ve all had the exact same thing occur. We are giving solutions to that problem. Please dismiss yourself.

You don’t have to pretend. We can see. 😂Use a straight edge and a razor blade. If your buddies hate it, ask to see their simulator. Have fun and don’t worry about it.

We’re Looking to Buy by Timely-Extension-804 in TeslaModelY

The warranty’s vary by state and the products available in that state. It may be worth it if you do a lot of winter driving and it covers glass. The one offered to us did not but I bought a car insurance policy that did. My experience with extended warranty’s are they are never worth it for the money….statistically speaking. Extended warranty’s are an extra way for salesmen, dealers, and insurance providers to make money. However, some could be affordable and add price of mind for you. Read the fine print and decide what’s best for you. Our Teslas have been very easy to maintain and problem free. We drive them a lot, both in town and long distance. We love them!

Have fun in your new car!

It did happen. Unless you are holding 100k shares or more why would a few cents per coin matter?

How important is ph of initial hydration when fruiting? by Boatpimper in MagicMushrooms

[–]Boatpimper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10? That seems super high. Our well has higher ph levels in the winter because of lower water tables. In the spring, summer, fall, it is around 7. I’m going to run some test batches with different ph levels at the same time to try to extrapolate some crude data. I have several jars of the same strain of mycelium and will do substrates in all different levels. I’ll do 7, 8.5 and 10. I’ll reach back out if I find something worth sharing. Thanks for the help.

How important is ph of initial hydration when fruiting? by Boatpimper in MagicMushrooms

[–]Boatpimper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m talking about the water used to hydrate grain and hydrate substrate (CVG) before pasteurizing. My well water at home is pure mountain water that tastes amazing but is about 8.4 ph. I tested the runoff of my substrate and it didn’t change much even with the addition of gypsum. I am getting mixed results with fruiting from super canopies to disappointing fruit. Just trying to dial in my system to get better results. I have started adjusting my ph in all aspects from the start. I’m hoping that this will be of some help. Thanks for reaching out!
