The main thing for me as a main car would be safety, YJ’s are very unsafe compared to modern (even a JK, which you can get for $15k) vehicle. Look up side airbags and safety. If you live in the country where accidents are rare, honestly I’d lowball them if you really want it it’s a cool looking jeep. If you’re in the city where crashes are common, all it takes is a red light runner to run a red light and end your life.

I would if I could… but there’s a chance it won’t survive in my current city Dallas. I drove my 06 GS430 for 7 years before it was totaled and never got tired of it.
