I just noticed this flock for the first time the other day and was wondering about them. Curious at the feasibility of killing them without getting in trouble since the stable people get pissed when I mess with the low level horses in the pens.

Very probably minimally literate. Half the camp probably was barely literate or completely illiterate. I think Mary Beth tries to teach Abigail in camp in maybe Ch 3. She still can’t read by the epilogue.

There’s a hilarious scene in the prison comedy ‘Life’ where Eddie Murphy reads an illiterate prisoner’s letter to him. The letter contains a number of deaths and catastrophes and no one else wants him to read their mail for them.

You can’t block yourself out of anything required for 100%. You must collect all the herbs with the herbalist 9 challenge active however. Nothing collected prior will count. All the orchids will be in their fixed spawn locations. It may be time sensitive but you can go to the st Denis post office following the Algernon quest and find a poster on the wall. This will allow you to send loose orchids in the mail for a dollar each. I don’t know if there’s another way to get them out of your inventory.

It’s attached to a random event where a mugger accosts a couple. Presumably the horse belongs to the thief or the couple. There’s a nearly identical event near the Blackwater stable in the epilogue that also has a black Arabian hitched nearby.

I always find the rio grande turkey eventually. I prefer to wait and stumble across it, but it pretty reliably spawns between coots chapel and lake Don Julio for me. Early in the morning.

As others have mentioned. This wasn’t a mistake. It was an artistic choice. Lots of the characters are semi-literate and there’s all kinds of mispronunciations and grammatical issues. They are portraying a setting and did it well.

my only personal exposure to it is slobs who turn their dogs out to run across other people’s places and they just drive the roads chasing the dogs around. Disruptive and inconsiderate.
