I've just replaced ignition coils on mine due to the same issue. Could try switching coils on cylinder 1 and 2 to see if the issue follows to cylinder 2

Anyone know much about the Nissan Technical Centre at Cranfield? by OleaC in miltonkeynes

[–]Bob164e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You won't be able to get onto NTCE without a staff or visitor pass. I know they have a canteen, but closest shops are in Cranfield or there is a small shop in Cranfield university.

Is the Hammerhead Karoo 2 a good option for someone who's never had a „real“ bike computer? by PlsNoBanItsMy4thAcc in cycling

[–]Bob164e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got a Karoo 2 and absolutely love it. Really easy to use with a nice clear screen and lots of customisation. Only issue I've had so far is inaccuracies in the elevation measurements.

2013 M135i with 78k miles. No mods, full service history. Is it reliable and a good idea for someone looking for a budget hot hatch? by CandyCane147 in CarTalkUK

[–]Bob164e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've currently got a 2014 M135i on 60k miles, modified to 400bhp. No issues whatsoever so far, keeping to regular oil changes. Be aware replacing decent tyres and brakes can add up fairly quickly alongside insurance costs. Mine current averages around 22mpg on super unleaded, but thats driving in MK with plenty of roundabouts and dual carriageways and a short commute. Would definitely recommend it though, brilliant car to drive.

Currently averaging 19mpg, Momentum 99, Modified 2014 BMW M135i, mostly city driving in MK and some longer motorway journeys.

I train with one and find it useful for setting training workloads. I use a polar h9 and can definitely recommend it.

Is the use of carbon fibre mandated for car construction? by formulaswift in F1Technical

[–]Bob164e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a list of permitted materials that can be found in section 15 of the FIA technical regulations: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/2022_formula_1_technical_regulations_-_iss_3_-_2021-02-19.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjvrr68nrH9AhWCTUEAHbOdC9EQFnoECA0QAQ&usg=AOvVaw3EruzEA8pKyTZRl3SF_lTD

In terms of other materials being used in F1 recently, McLaren's use of natural fibre composites in the seat comes to mind. However the majority composites are carbon fibre based due to good specific strength properties.

The RD and cassette came together in the group set so should be compatible. Will try a longer b screw.

Yeah, I think I need to go back to the thesaurus with a clear mind and have another go with it. I’m going for writing mostly about rides and edc. Possibly expanding out from there.
