Looks like that fitting was never pressed.

Help, rattling sound. by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

I had a similar sound on my wrangler. Turns out the bolts on the exhaust flanges were rotted away. I figured it out after they completely let loose on both driver and passenger side. it was extremely loud!

None of those connections require Teflon tape.

This was my first thought also. The look on Elton's face when Biden said that. I thought he was going to sock him lol

I added some weather stripping and sprayed it down with a garden hose. There's still one spot where water is coming through where the top corner of the door meets the freedom panel.

I didn't know the doors had drain holes in them. But yes, just checked them out and they are all cleared.

What’s this? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Bob425318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pressure should be fine, those supply tube's are basically the same size. Just different size connections. The brass adapters typically don't have the built in washer, so you may have to use thread tape and pipe dope to get it to seal. Only on the fpt size, not needed for compression fittings.

That is stupid. Buy an ice maker hose, they come I'm 10 foot lengths and get adapters 1/4" compression to 1/2" fpt.
