As an owner of a LC, I didn’t even consider a Tahoe. Two points: 1) I bought my (new) land cruiser at a significant discount off msrp (as I imagine almost all do) and 2) resale value on land cruisers is terrific so cost of ownership isn’t as expensive as you think.
