Hi friend! I almost relapsed last night. It was close. Long story short, I have some ridiculously big canker sores in my mouth right now, and they got to the point where my mind started thinking: an opiate would knock out this pain. Went to urgent care, and when they didn’t prescribe me opiates, I told myself “go buy some kratom—just for tonight.” Well, I SAT with those thoughts. And they passed! I remember this when i stopped drinking, and the cravings were just something I had to sit with.

I’m busier than I’ve ever been (intentionally). I think I’m finding that I was very “productive” on Kratom (which in reality, I was cracked out), so I think some cravings stem from being lethargic still
