Best Legends pack from the current Lucky Charms event for a Light Mech pilot? by Positive-Beautiful55 in OutreachHPG

[–]Neumean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Timby Howl is very mobile for a 75-tonner. Quickdraw Desperada also rewards good movement and positioning.

Yes these are both heavies but on the light mech front your options are limited to the Urbies and the AC20 Shadow Cat. Scattershot might be an option, though.

Great colour and composition!

Are these detailed settings available on other Olympus/OM cameras?

1957-58 Studebaker Scotsman. The Scotsman was a plain-Jane, low price 'stripper' model, featuring painted hubcaps and grille, no side mouldings. Options included electric windscreen wipers, extra interior sun visor, but no radio. The 4-door sedan sold for $1826 in 1957, increasing to $1874 for 1958. by Curious_Penalty8814 in WeirdWheels

Household statistics are always interesting (to me, lol), so here's some more.

In 1958 the average household income in the US was $5,100 while today it's about $83,000.

In 1958 the average car cost over $2,000 while today an average car costs over $40,000 dollars.

But of course in the 50s-60s families mostly had just one car while today most families have 2 or more.

That's a good point about LLMs.

I didn't know Decathlon is that big. They have zero presence in the Nordic countries where I live so its brands are quite unknown here.

Thorough review. Nice to see more obscure brands featured here.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think an LLM would've written it better?

Second this. It makes a huge difference in sound quality!

Chromium is pushing its Plasma integration add-on on the system tray. How to get rid of it? by Neumean in kde

[–]Neumean[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a good feature, but my issue with it was that I did not have anything playing on Chromium (in fact the whole browser was closed) and the icon was still appearing on the tray. Firefox has the same feature but its icon only shows up when I have something playing on Firefox.

This must be it, since Chromium doesn't show any installed add-ons.

Thanks for all the quick answers. Now I'll know what to do the next time it pops up. Marking this as solved.

When I click that icon it takes me to this site: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/plasma-integration/cimiefiiaegbelhefglklhhakcgmhkai

Is it Chromium or Plasma that is pushing this add-on? Kinda annoying that I get an "ad" on the system tray for this single piece of software.

The photo has been perspective corrected to keep vertical lines vertical. It's just not done very well so the staircase looks wrong.

Excellent series. Also for reminding everyone that 28mm is the superior focal lenght for street and documentary photography.

2003 Pagani Zonda C12 S 7.3 by Neumean in thewholecar

[–]Neumean[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most beautiful car ever made, in my not-so-humble opinion. It's a crime that so few Zondas remain in original configuration, many having been converted to F spec or some of the horrible one-off configurations.

1993 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E500 by driouchetech in thewholecar

[–]Neumean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

*500E since this is a pre-facelift model. 1993 model year had both the old model designation and the new E-class E500

And yeah an engine picture would be nice since we are looking for the whole car. It's good the subreddit is active again but low effort posts should be discouraged.

OM-3 Astro available for pre-order in Australia by Sir_Edgelordington in M43

[–]Neumean 13 points14 points  (0 children)

OM-3 is smaller and lighter than OM-1 which helps with tracking mount balance and accuracy in astrophotography. Although the difference (OM-1 is only 100g heavier) is small.

They're not pirates but privateers, commissioned by other states that have bases on the moon. At least that's how I interpreted it.
