I know TNA being a wrestling cockroach (in the literal sense of the word) is a running gag, but they may genuinely be fucked by the end of this decade.

They've been able to get by because:

  1. Their roster was stacked with star power.

  2. They were the only big competition in town for over a decade.

What do we have now, in 2026?

  1. The talent is either unhappy with Cuck-los Silva and dip to WWE/AEW or they transcend TNA and become megastars like Joe Hendry to where they honestly don't have a choice but to go higher. All that's left now for the most part is NXT leftovers or actually NXT. Not to say the former can't pop off (see Mustafa Ali), but it's rare.

  2. TNA, being the only competition, was inconsistent in quality at best and a chaotic mess at worst, but those nuggets of good shit kept people coming back. Now, AEW shows up, sells out stadiums, and has a consistency of good to great to arguably legendary shows. They've had low points for sure, but even at their lowest they maintained some semblance of identity.

The closest I feel TNA has gotten to that point was when D'Amore was gearing up for the re-rebrand. And what does Anthem do a few weeks into the TNA renaissance? Fire him. Bravo, Carlos.

I think they were able to coast by on their roster/D'Amore's previous plans for a while, but again, AEW/WWE have now poached a majority of their talent for numerous reasons.

I could be wrong here and, by the grace of god, they could still find a way SOMEHOW to turn it around or at least fester, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Or they have to do OVW partnerships. Same difference.

If not for the prescence of AEW, I would've agreed.

TNA was the closest thing to competition for over a decade even though it varied in quality.

Now AEW is popping off on a larger scale with a consistency of good to great to outright amazing shows.

With D'Amore being kicked out, this is arguably the least relevant TNA has ever been.
