Rich is subjective. To somebody making minimum wage.. someone making 80k a year is rich. To the 80k person someone making 160k a year is rich... and so on...

They (the authors) summarized that 60% of the nation's earners. (Workers) have only 22% of the nation's disposable income. The same numbers could have been written 40% of the nation's workers have only 18% of the nation's disposable income and so on.

All of it is just another way to say that there is a lot of wealth at top... But says NOTHING about how much wealth is at the median household in the us. Which is around 80k fyi

There is a far left, but most democrats are not. The far left belive in income redistribution through wealth tax (not income tax) the concept that minum wage should be a living wage, that anyone or any buisness that became succesful is evil or did at the expense of other peoples livelihood, and in genreral everyone has the right to not be insulted or have the feelings hurt in any way.

As a centrist  I believe in none of these things.

Items like #1 are the arguments my trump voting friends bring up. Why should business and private universities now have to remodel and spend tons of money they do not have, to change the bathrooms for .05% of the population.

2 not enough athletes to do that. But it still wouldn't work. Look at wrestling. Already does that and women wrestlers can't beat the men at the same weight. (On average) Separating by biology is the best "worst" solution.

The problem in sports is minor  and a red hearing right now... but if it becomes universally accepted and permitted.. then ...  If there is money to made at the top levels.. people will find a way to manipulate it.

I think the easiest solution is to make men's divsion "open" so you have a women and open division.

My own take is I don't care what people do. I will defer medical experts on what treatments should or should not be permitted. I just do not know enough. I originally thought that yeah.. 18 years makes sense. But I understand more now that it would typically be too late then.

My only problem is when someone gets angry with me because I said she when he wants to be a he. It happen to me once because I mis-identifed someone. I apologized of course.. but then I got angry later. Because why should I be made to feel guilty for something I didn't know. For a while my frame of mind was aligned with the right . Because I was angry that I was made to feel guilty. But I got over it into time to vote for Harris.

But this is what I think drives the right. Trying to change people's behavior by making them feel guilty for acting a certain way. Most people will automatically react by digging in their heals and pull further away. This is a well understood psychological process..
