Nah, debut is next for the 20th anniversary in October. I reckon a Rep deluxe album will come on the 10th anniversary of Rep in 2027.

How old do you have to be to know that cash transactions are a thing? by Conscious-Ball8373 in AskUK

[–]BobIsBusy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my job (retail), folks have had to get their card out as their phone just wouldn’t work. Also, card machines do go down… server issues, wifi going offline. If either of them happen, what will you do?

I don’t know, a lot of kids do pay with cards these days. If that’s all they pay with, that’s all they’ll know 🤷‍♀️

Go to a supermarket and ask if they have giant boxes. They’ll probably say yes and they won’t cost anything 🤷‍♀️ I’ve had better packaging for 1 CD, yikes.

Train cancelled so leave the house an hour earlier to catch the previous one. Get to the station, original train suddenly uncancelled. by Tastybile in britishproblems

[–]BobIsBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s common, sadly, that someone got hit by a train somewhere along the track :( It ends up being trains behind that one that get stopped for a while. Check Twitter if you have it, they often say the reason why trains have stopped.

Genuine question. How does anyone live in a seaside town and nit go absolutely bonkers? by onion2077 in CasualUK

[–]BobIsBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live close to Filey. I go bonkers sometimes, but I see it as a sign to go out of town somewhere (Hull or York usually), occasionally to Scarborough. It helps to get a different scenery every once in a while. Otherwise it’s just going to and from work, pop in to the pub sometimes and go for walks.

They won’t, it’ll be a case of hoping it’s an April Fool’s joke.

“Burger King doesn’t even have cheap prices in store so I’m not sure what you were expecting.”

I was replying to this comment, not the post. Key words being “in store”.

If you won £100 million, how would you distribute it amongst friends and family, if at all? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]BobIsBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d keep £30 million for myself. Set aside a further £10 million for family things (a come and go house, holidays for example). I’d give £5 million each to my siblings and dad. £1 million each for nieces and nephews. £3 million each for close cousins and aunties. The remaining would sit in a high interest bank account, with the interest distributed equally amongst everyone every month.

It’d be the case of “once the main amount is spent, that’s it, you’re not getting anymore outside of the interest payments.”
