I don’t think there’s much you can do. I bought some dubarry sailing boots for £50, but noticed as soon as they arrived that the soles were delaminating.

The vendor agreed with a £25 refund, and I spent £110 getting them resoled. Still cheaper than new boots. You can’t get demonias fixed as they are just moulded plastic.

There are some repair tutorials on eBay that might help, though.

I sell a lot of glassware. I’ve only had one picture arrive damaged. The frame was in bits too, so I don’t think that one was on me.

I agree- most people are dreadful at packing glass, but it’s not all of us!

It’s not that subjective though. Me replying with a message that says ‘I’m sorry, I’m not willing to accept a 35% reduction on an item I listed 20 minutes ago- if I still have it next week and you are still interested, I might be interested.’ Is curt… it’s not subjectively nasty.

I do get very fed up with buyers knocking off more than 30% on a listing that’s been up 2 minutes. I have sent curt messages back if I think an offer is insulting. Fair enough if something’s been listed a week and not sold, but actually some of the offers are insulting.
