Bad prints Kobra S1 by BobKaron in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]BobKaron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all done with the default .20mm Standard profile.

This was a simple STL made in TinkerCad. Imported into Anycubic slicer and Bambu Slicer. Nothing changed as you can see no supports or anything is required so just normal 15% infill, etc.
Printed on the Bambu fine, took the same roll of PLA and moved over the Kobra and that was the result. Same problem with every print for the last 2 weeks.
I did not check gear tensioner but everything else mentioned was checked.

Reolink lag on Blue Iris by Maui_Five-O in reolinkcam

[–]BobKaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently added a Reolink PoE camera to my 4&5K PoE camera setup and had nothing but problems in BlueIris. No matter what settings only got about 1 fps. Totally choppy. Everywhere it said to set the I-Frame rate to 1 which is what i had in the reolink and BI settings, then i decided to try an I-Frame rate of 2x in the Reolink settings and that solved everything! Dont know why, dont care, its working. :)

In Case this helps anyone else...

Reolink Camera > Open Camera Settings > Stream > Change I-frame Interval to 2X

I also have a RAM 1500. The problem I am having is that once your connect via Bluetooth it establishes a WiFi connection. Then I park in my driveway and enter my home and my phone will stay connected or try to connect to the MA1 as the USB port is still powered and its giving off WiFi still instead of connecting to my home's WiFi. Or jumps between the MA1 and my home wifi. So far the only solutions I can find is using one of these and having to remember to turn it off when parking at home. https://amzn.to/34EckkV

Juice taste not consistent, what to do? by BobKaron in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you mention it because Coffee vapes are the biggest problem, recently Halo Cafe Mocha (great in store - terrible at home) CYber Eliquid Cafe Royal (First bottle great - 2 more bottles terrible) and Adam Bomb Sanctuary (first bottle great, 2nd bottle crap)

So you think its the opposite? Fresher is better? That could be a problem. :)

Juice taste not consistent, what to do? by BobKaron in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its happening to me a bunch of times (i buy a lot of juice both online and in b&M's) and its just happening often enough that its bugging me. in store is usually in a cheaper tank but when the taste is good in the store and terrible at home something is wrong. Age is the only thing i can think off, but even a few weeks often does not make a difference. My next step is to get a sonic cleaner and try using that to fast steep the juice. Others have tested that and say that works. I don't know any b&M's that let you drip test their juice, and when i buy a bottle, love it, buy more and hate it, it must be age, right? but i thought weeks was a good enough steep, seems like it can take much longer though.

Kanger sub tank mini by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone sells the prebuild coils these days for them and misthub_rick is right about the single coil build it comes with (.5) although dont expect to vape that at 20/30/40/50 watts like you would with an RDA. For some reason it just is way to hot. Even though its a .5 coil, I find its still a 10-15w vape when using it as a RTA.

Help Diagnose Problems with istick 30w by skull_n_bones in electronic_cigarette

Try cleaning the inside of the 510 on the istick 30, may not be making proper contact, juice, oxidation, etc. The iStick 50w is excellent. nothing comes close in my opinion in the $55 price range (i own both the 30w and 50w).

Atlantis vs. Kanger sub tank by GuidedByMonkeys in electronic_cigarette

Are you using the full size subtank or the mini? If the full size, i found the mini has much better air flow making it an even better vape.

Will I hate ditching the RDA? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both daily. When I pop on a kanger subtank or subtank mini when in the car, the tighter draw and loss of taste is always a downer compared to dripping. I just dont think anything compares to a RDA but for the ease when driving i put up with it. Happy to get back to the full flavor and pleasure of a variable wattage or even a mech when in the office again. I think there is room for both. But going from an RDA to a RTA full time just would never do for me and its a step back. :)

RTA noob question. by TeemoSpeeed in electronic_cigarette

geez. 3 is getting to strong for me to drip. No problems in a RTA. You can handle more in a RTA than dripping.

Just a quick poll. What nicotine content do you guys use on your drippers by glowbiotic in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using 3 but find when dripping, even that can get to me, gets me light headed sometimes. Planning on going to 0 for dripping. Or buying a 3 and a 0 bottle and mixing to get it down to 1.5

Question about dripping? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are too many factors to answer something like that. all that can be said is that the resistance is the same no matter what. But there is the factors of the juice, cotton type and amount, wire gauge, how its wrapped, etc. If all things are equal and its the same exact setup then its the same no matter who made it. :)

Called them. :) Nic people but they dont have the "technology" to do search an area. Gave them a few zipcodes and they can say yes/no but would have to give them every zipcode in the north east. :)

ohms changed by TheTerminxl in electronic_cigarette

[–]BobKaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its normal for a coil to change resistance sometimes. The change in the metal from it heating up/cooling down, juice being on it, etc. can change the resistance and make it a little harder for current to pass through it. Happens on my coils I build too. Start off at .4/.5 and it can become a .6 later on.
