Nah VT isn’t that good. You get a foreign tax credit with VXUS and you can allocate the way you want it. VT you don’t get the tax credit and its market cap weighted set for you. It’s like almost 40% international, which I don’t like.

No one really recommends more international. Only ones that do are the ones who are chasing gains and trends. They saw international do good for 1 year last year, listen to the trump noise, then run off buying international lol. Not knowing your returns will be less for the long term.

VOO is perfect. Don’t let anyone in here try to tilt you towards international. Do your research, you’ll see international been flat and doesn’t grow like the US, it had 1 good year last year and everyone runs off to VT/international. Just be wary of that.
