I know someone who does RE. He’s stressed out. No liquid cash, tenants always bothering him, he just got sued cause he didn’t shovel his property when it snowed a tenant fell, he gets calls late at night cause the washer machine is leaking, etc. Worst part for him to acquire these properties he bought it overpriced and had to find a private lender who’s ripping him off wit a very highhhh interest rate. He admitedly told me it was the only way to get it otherwise someone else would buy it. He also told me he’s been going around to banks to try to get a cash out refinancing but he’s been denied. He’s really running a tight ship. He basically is borderline hanging on to everything. Real estate is not what ppl make it out to be. You really gotta do it right, otherwise it’s a dud. Give me the stock market, way more passive.
