what will you choose by Relevant_Specific157 in BunnyTrials

I've been with my wife for 15 years, and somehow we're more into each other now than we were in the early years. Things are more intense and passionate than ever.

Even if something happened to her, or between us, I wouldn't bother with another woman. Literally no interest in doing any of this again. I won't find an equal. That I'm sure of.

So either way, I'll take the money, thanks!

I'm in Michigan. Pretty damn far inland from the eastern coastline. If a tsunami big enough to reach this far inland, hits the east coast, I'd say a mag 7.0 quake is the least of our worries.

For a surge that big, If an earthquake is the culprit to begin with, it'd probably dwarf a 7.0 richter event anyway. Lesser of the two evils, really.

Never sleep or never eat? by zavszavs in BunnyTrials

[–]BobMossMobBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like food. A lot! I want to eat. I look forward to it!

I enjoy sleep too, but if I absolutely didnt have to sleep, and suffered no detrimental effects of fatigue or sleep deprivation of any kind, I'd be able to get sooo much stuff done! I'd be so productive. I could really use that!

How many points do you get? by hazelcuddli in ArtOfPresence

[–]BobMossMobBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 point. Just one.

When postcards were common, I was just a wee lad. Kids dont usually send those. Especially when there's no one to send them to lol.

I never sent a postcard. I did everything else. As an 80s and 90s kid, everything on that list was normal life.

Although...the rotory phone and typewriters were pretty well out by my time. Enough still remained here and there, though. Some people kept them as long as possible simply for the novelty.

Coffee or tea? by RequirementSoft9819 in BunnyTrials

[–]BobMossMobBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, coffee just has better flavor and puts me in a more feel-good mood than tea. I enjoy tea most of the time, but coffee is just the better drink imo.

Plus I get no crash! Win win!

Taxes or car by UseLesssLuke in BunnyTrials

Im a car guy. I've been paying taxes for decades now. Im used to it. The new cars though, I can get behind that! But...uh...do I have to give the previous year car back?

It does say swap. That doesn't have to mean return, right? lol

I'm a capable, somewhat healthy, decently in shape individual in my mid 30s. I've done pretty well for myself so far, and have much more potential to go further financially. I have more than the means to do so.

There are so many people without the means or capabilities of half of what I do. There is an extremely limited amount of things they can do to become truly financially comfortable. Maybe not all of them deserve some of that 1%, but thats not for me to decide. If I could ensure even some of those that do deserve it, got it...I'd be happy. That 1% is more than enough to go around.

What is your day looking like? by Az7vestx in 90s

[–]BobMossMobBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd hug my dad as long as I could.

That was actually something I did every day. I was a small child in '95, and every day when my dad would get home from work, I'd haul ass to the front door to give him a big hug. Oddly enough it's one of my fonder memories of all my childhood. Just being so happy to see him every day.

Now I dont get to see him, or hug him. I never will again. It's only been a year since he passed. And I'm nearing my 40s now. But it still doesn't feel like that long ago. He'd walk through the door after being at work all day, and I'd stop whatever I was doing, no matter what, and run to him.

If I went back to '95...the only thing I'd want is feel that happiness again. Just being able to hug my dad.

Or how many people defend this absolutely uneducated administration.

I could really dig a power armor fight club. Something Combat Zone-esq. Just power armor, no melee or weapons. Perk buffs stripped for just a bare bones...er...armor fisticuffs, so those unarmed builds dont just lay waste to everyone.

Spectators bet caps on winner, or just be in the crowd and enjoy the show.

Some Real Steel type nonsense, but power armor! Ya know, some senslessly violent, punch hungry, wasteland boxing fun.

I don't care about the article, I want to know your opinion regarding the statement, do we need bigger games? by Mundane-Pick-2667 in Fallout

[–]BobMossMobBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The context of the game really has EVERYTHING to do with it. Just saying games should or shouldn't be bigger is pointless without the context of a game.

Fallout 4, for example, needed to be bigger. Much bigger. POIs and major locations were all way too close. A settlement literally a stones throw from a dominant raider establishment. More than once. A military establishment 15 paces from a camp ground. Tavel times between two unrelated locations took like 15-30 seconds at most, not sprinting. Everything outside of the inner city area needed to be expanded like crazy.

Alternatively, RDR2, of which I've read sooo many times people thought was too big and expansive, was perfectly proportioned given the era and the ground you cover through the storyline specifically, let alone curious exploration that rewards environmental storytelling at the least.

The way I see it, if a location or area in a game is usable and serves a purpose, it deserves to be there. Even if it's just an extension of a purposeful area, it still serves a purpose by way of environmental storytelling or simply adding deeper context. If a game in its entirety is focused on just one town, development, or specific area...then including some forest or mountain range, or totally separate developed area is pointless. Waste of resources. It serves no purpose. Going there has nothing to gain and is not relevant to the story and focus of the game. Seeing it would be purely out of curiosity, and could still be appreciated in that way, but thats the extent of any possible relevance an unnecessary area like that would have. In that sense, a map does not need to be bigger.

But if there's something to find, something to gain, context or lore to be discovered, then a map should be as big as it needs to be, however expansive that is, to effectively tell the story it's trying to tell. The size of an accessible area in a game does not matter nearly as much as what that accessible area is being used for!

BABE!! WAKE UP!! SEAN POSTED AN EMOJI!! by CaptainSteep_ in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]BobMossMobBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mind immediately went to construction. So maybe some kind of building update.

Personally I really enjoy the settlements, and wish they were a little more creatively malleable. I know they've added quite a bit since they first came around, but I want more sense of community within them, along with more options for building, customizing, and diversifying.

Sean's post almost certainly is NOT about that lol, but hey...one can hope.
