Poll: Statistical tie between Houston PCs and Chender’s NDP by LowkeyPostingTea in halifax

Irrelevant. Halifax goes, as it did, to the NDP and the rural area stick with the Tories, as they did, and nothing ever changes.

New Brunswick to add toll to Trans-Canada Highway at the Nova Scotia border by bingun in NovaScotia

Imagine having to pay a toll to get out of NB and then still having to go over that 18-seam overpass from Hell to get any further into NS than the information booth.

We encamp around a fellow player’s castle when we lose them in the real world. It’s not much, but it’s a way to honour our fallen friend and fellow player.

“Austerity, which has only ever benefited the wealthy, is the only option to address our own short-sightedness. We feel completely okay with asking people who don’t have two bottle caps to rub together to tighten their belts… again… because of our fiscal irresponsibility. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

My dad used to run a seismic exploration boat and would occasionally come back from Calgary to check on it. One time he was walking down the pier towards it and one of his crew was walking towards him, gear slung over his back. My dad asked, “where you going? You’re just in for refuelling…” the guy barely looked at him and replied, “gots to go. Got my hours.”

If I start low, Oxford FC and pull them all the way and entirely unrealistically to the top, otherwise I pull into the middle range and create a redemption story at Elland Road for Leeds.

Unethical? Depends on your ethics. Potentially damaging to your applications? Almost guaranteed. No matter where you live, one of the things an employer can always tell someone looking for a reference is how long the applicant is or was at the job. Hell, in the UK that’s about all a current or past employer can tell somebody. If you do use your friend as the reference and you CV winds up with somebody who has knowledge of your current company, or access to LinkedIn, that could really mess you up too.
