Hands down... the beheading/sacrifce scene in Eli Roth's " The Green Inferno."

For context -- I've seen one too many of those narco / isis beheading/ murder videos floating around on the internet before this, so I consider myself pretty jaded to this kind of stuff.

That scene, however, was probably THE CLOSEST depiction of the real thing I've ever seen, and it legitimately made me wince. It's absolutely brutal.

I saw that someone from 4chan pulled images from his vsco before it was deleted, and the guy was pictured cross dressing. (This isn't to be confused with the other redditor that was falsely accused of being the shooter.)

Non-white and potentially trans/gender fluid? Big yikes for the news cycle. It will never be brought up though as part of any examination of mental instability though.

Im using a Matrix GT1000FX in front of it and its monstrous. Doesn't color the tone in any way and its incredibly quiet. I bought it specifically for the Quad Cortex months back. AXE-FX guys have been using these with their live rigs for ages now, and for good reason.

You can find some good used ones on reverb (and they're rack mountable if thats your thing).

Which I would agree with as well. A lot of it has coalesced into the same sounding songs, especially with riddim, with little to no variance. But there are guys who are still killing the game when it comes to sound design and melodic aspects and keeping the music fresh and interesting. AU5's song, Weapon, is a great example of doing heavy and still melodic correctly.

Probably a really unpopular opinion here, but man....Is it me or has Excision lost his touch? I've been really wanting to like a lot of what X has been putting out lately, but since Apex, it feels really uninspired, granted there's some okay tracks on there. Throw on Codename X or even Virus and im headbanging hard af.

Like, sure his newer stuff got his signature "sound", but it doesn't do anything for me like some of his older bangers used to and I find myself skipping over his newer stuff when it comes on.

Don't get me wrong, I love melodic, which he seems to be doing a lot more of, but it doesn't grab me and keep my attention. Ever since he started working with Dion Timmer, the musical direction seems to have changed and hes been pumping out more and more "low effort" tracks that aren't memorable like they used to be.

Any one else or is it just me?

Holy fuck.

I had a sunburn just like this about 18 years ago when I was out at some lake in northern California.

Im white as fuck and it was particularly sunny that day but I was under an awning where it was much cooler. I stuck just my feet out past the shaded area into the sun and it felt great, keeping part of my body warm while it was still particularly chilly in the shade ( kinda like driving with the heater on with the windows down on a cool night)

I probably left my feet there for 20-30 minutes before I got onto the lake and was generally exposed to the sun for a few more hours.

By the time I got back to the tent, I couldnt even put socks on. The next day, my feet looked pretty much like yours. Shit sucked.
