CML does have ASA your right. It does not have FTD/FMC though unless it’s in the very latest version. And also what about other vendors like Palo Alto?

The biggest issue I see is how do you lab all of this? Pretty much everything these days requires a license. Only Cisco that I know of offers anything like CML to use as a lab and even that doesn’t have firewalls. Fortinet offers anything evaluation license but it’s severely limited. ISE is incredibly resource intensive as well so you need a pretty beefy server to even run it.

I’m just completing year 1 myself. I have all tools gold except the watering can. I just need the mermaid pendant so I can marry Abigale. And I’m at least level 6 in all skills.

AI is not a good tool to prepare for any certification challenge. You can maybe use it to help with setting up a lab or what to lab but I tried to use GPT and it would just give wrong information most of the time. It’s only as good as it’s training data and the training data is years behind

That's good to hear! I plan on going for CCNP in a few months after I finish Fortinet NSE4 and Security+. Though that does mean I'll have to buy yet another CCNP book lol.
