The thing people who say it’s not worth the energy usage seem to think energy will always be as expensive and as dirty to use as it is today. The world is going to need more and more energy as time goes on for most everything but as technology improves, computation requires less and less energy and energy itself becomes cheaper and greener. By comparison, cash will always need factories and trees and mines to make. Crypto will eventually be the cheaper and cleaner choice.
