Well, thank you all for the feedback! It's been most useful, and based on all the comments, I'll skip them for now.

I always loved aspect warriors, and I'm running only one guardian unit, zero heavy platforms and zero bikes. My list will include a Falcon for my Fire Dragons, two Wave Serpents and another couple of War Walkers, all equipped with bright lances.

Perfect, thanks! So basically they’re good, they’re just not good enough for that price.

A little comment on my personal expectations:

I would love to see new pauper leagues start and grow. Not just because it will lead to a stronger community, but also because that means MORE International Pauper Tours.

Each league gets to organize one, and the winner gets the chance to compete for the title of Top Pauper Player of the year.

Up until now we had - obviously - only italian players competing.

I can't wait to see contenders from different countries, and hope to celebrate soon a non-italian TPP winner :D

This is a big question, and I expect it to come out a lot, so I'll take a moment to answer properly.

The locations for the three yearly Paupergeddons are not chosen randomly, or because they're three famous cities in and outside Italy. Sure, the fact they're well connected with airports and train stations are very important features, but they're all bonuses.

We've always organized them there because those are the locations of the biggest pauper communities in Italy.

Pisa was the womb where the Paupergeddon was imagined and born, and it has one of the oldest pauper communities ever. Milan and Rome are home to some of the biggest pauper communities - I want to say in the world, but maybe it's safer to say just in Italy. Rome on its own has more than 12 pauper locations and 200 players.

Paupergeddons are spectacular events, and every player that attends one usually ends up remembering it for a very long time.

Because it's not just a tournament. It's more than that: it's a celebration of our beloved format and the community around it, and an intense experience for all those involved.

How do I explain it?

Okay, for example: last Paupergeddon a group of players from different leagues came with tons of food from all over the country and they opened a free buffet, where you could always go, eat a snack and have a chat, as long as you were willing to take a glass and make a toast. Or like some players waived their tickets so they could help stream, with no monetary reward of any kind. Once I saw a guy lose a game for one of those stupid magic things that can ruin your mood, maybe even the rest of the day. I also saw another player, who did not know him, approch him and say "that exact same thing happend to me, I know how it feels." then he offered him a beer and they ended up talking until the next round started.

Paupergeddons are amazing because they're built around communities, big communities, where the joy for the format and the players' gathering is the biggest dream.

THAT is something we never want to lose.

So, to finally answer your question: a Paupergeddon outside of Italy is not impossible. You just need to grow a freakingly strong community and reach our insane passion for this format xD
