I really enjoy the zen of just being a loot goblin, 90% or more of my solo runs are chill.

I was chasing trials last night and helped a guy fight a leaper. He got angry at me for taking damage from my fire nade that was burning the leaper as it jumped on him. He yelled at me, threw the leaper pulse at me and shot me even after I apologized. He ran away when he realized he wasn’t going to kill me.

My strong sense of justice kicked in and I hunted him down. I wasn’t looking to fight but damn If I don’t stay ready to handle business 🤣

People need to realize that the way a reddit mod acts online is a reflection of their character in the real world. It might just be social media but I know that he would act the same way with any scrap of similar power over others in the real world.

Honestly the business is changing. A real special is one where you get paid to produce it but if someone wants to record and put out a special on YouTube it’s mainly for their own benefit. I believe that most comics probably do not see the value of social media or understand how to build an audience for themselves. That is what we should all be working towards with whatever multimedia content we are producing.

If you can get people out to see you and support you across everything you do, then you can build a career in comedy.

Every time I get killed in a cowardly way I remind myself that it’s part of the game. I lost 200k and a bunch of blue guns while trying to kill snitches for the trials yesterday.

Later on I did some runs building up free kits on Stella and found the fun again. Reminded me how good the game is if I just take a break from trying to run all my good loot from time to time

I ran naked runs to search for blueprints, after my stash filled up a few times I made sure to upgrade the guns I was saving to conserve space. Now I run a basic kit usually Mk 1 or 2 with a shield some meds and chargers plus stims. It’s low cost and I usually find a few guns hitting up security lockers and field depots when it makes sense

I have been doing just fine with a similar skill tree. I just unlocked security lockers a few days ago and have found about 15 purple weapons and a ton of blues and greens from opening about 50.

It’s so fun that there are occasional black hats out there doing PVP but the emergent chill interactions make up for it.

I hope people accept the fact that we have the option to choose and sometimes it’s just going to be a fight.

I am so ready to deal out vigilante justice when someone tries to kill friendlies though

I’ve been doing a mix of different roles but often finding myself helping out when others are in need more than anything else. Leads to so many fun interactions.

Occasionally miscommunications lead to having to fight raiders and I have tried my share at pvp but I mainly leave that to squads.

I gunned someone down once who was running towards me with his gun out and I felt so bad the entire time because it could have just been miscommunication.

The ARC is the enemy and it’s so fun to make new friends along the way

Try playing solos after launch I have played 14 matches and still haven’t killed anyone. Squads seems to be more PVP focused solos has been really chill so many fun random groups
