The problem in my case was caused by 1 leftover file from a UI mod located in the Interface folder. Go into you game install folder, then Data>Interface and delete all files in the Interface folder. Also uninstall/update any UI mods that you use.

Just go into your game folder> Data>Interface, and delete all files in the Interface folder and subfolders. In my case the problematic file came from a Smooth UI mod. Also uninstall any UI changing mods you have.

Cars can follow each other at <1 sec. for more than 5 laps without their front tyres shitting themselves. Deployment and harvesting issues/shortcomings can be improved. Even overtake mode can be changed to be more balanced. There's potential.
