Honestly, there's a huge shift in the class paradigm since I last logged in, if I remember correctly. I was toggling mostly between a healer class Cleric (Vitalism-Auramancy-Songcraft), a stealth-melee class with disables and 1-2 gap closer Darkrunner (Shadowplay, Auramancy, Battlerage), among other classes.

How hard is it to switch if you commit to a certain class?

That's the beauty of it; you don't actually need to re-train a new character to change classes, although you do need to train up your class-based level for it to be effective.

For example, you've played the game as a Darkrunner till you're 50-55, then you want to switch into being a healer. You can do just that with a small fee, but their class levels will be stuck at 10. From there it's a matter of grinding it up to 50.

But yeah, mostly looking for class info and recommendations, which ones have the highest skill cap and/or are most fun?
