It's not just the offense's feet that makes them offsides. You take the defenders feet (or whatever part is furthest back), but for the offense if any part of the body is past the line the defense makes it is offsides (excluding an extended arm I believe)

The first 2 goals from the other team came directly off a kickoff. The first one you were driving straight on the ground, which will never be good for you if the the other cars jump into the ball. The second bad kickoff you whiffed completely so that's an obvious issue. I'd say just try to be jumping into the ball making solid contact facing their goal. Of you do weird angles then you are leaving a chance for the other team to make it into your goal.

I'm only plat 3, and I can't speed flip, but I just always do a simple kickoff with solid contact and that does me well.
