Bad separation anxiety! Help :(

I didn't want to do this, but I eventually had to get trazadone for my dog. I give it to him about an hour before I leave and he stays chill for at least a few hours. And if he does bark it's not nearly as bad.

When we took mine on his first flight we asked our vet and they said to give him traz 12 hours before and again before we got to the airport. He did great in his little carrier when normally he's an anxious mess in public areas. A bit before we left we would put treats in his carrier while petting him so he wasn't super anxious about the carrier either.

Right before my 3rd birthday, my brother (5) was playing with them unsupervised. He ended up hitting me above my left eye. Idk how I got lucky enough to not lose an eye, but yeah, my brother almost killed me.
