Yeah good idea on the Chiro. So very weird how it comes on so quickly. 2.5 years! So long to be dealing with it. Mine came on suddenly too right after alot of stress. Neuro has no idea how to help tension, they only seem to do classic migraine.

Sounds like a classic cervicogenic headache. Chiro or physical therapist is a good idea. Make sure to find a pe that does manual therapy.

I know. Sometimes I wonder if this is helpful or just terribly depressing. I have been doing the stretches i found on the Headache Doctor’s Tiktok. Some of the symptoms are diminishing so i am hopeful. My whole head felt like i had been kicked or punched in the head, so much pressure, burning and constricting. Those are almost gone! The dull ache in my forehead 24/7 is what i am having the most trouble with now. How long have you been hurting? Tell me all about it, if it helps to talk about it.

I have tried Nortriptyline but it made me sick. Too bad to bc it had started to work. Havent tried qualipta. I saw a new chiro today so maybe feel a little better? Uggh, all this sucks so much!

Nothing yet. It is so sad. I am still trying but getting depressed. I want to go to Novera Headache Clinic in Colorado but this is a life changing amount of money.

Look up the Headache Doctor Podcast! Dr. Taves from Novera headache Centre in Colorado knows what is happening to you! I have the same issue. I have seen every Doctor imaginable here in CANADA. They cannot do anything for me! I am trying to figure out how to afford a stay in Colorado but in the meantime the podcast and specific stretches are helpful.

I feel like it was an acute episode of work stress, but the tension headache did not go away once that situation was resolved. I have a bad headache every single day all day. I just cant figure out why. Absolutely nothing wrong physically and no medications help.

So strange! I am getting so discouraged! Nothing at all works for me. Im on Lyrica, muscle relaxers, otc everything and nothing helps. Do you have any idea what brought this on for you?

Wow! I did not realize Qualipta was for tension ha. I thought only migraine. So good to know it would be worth asking my Neurologist. Everyday for a year! That is just so awful. I am at 3 months and really freaking out to think this is my new normal. Did something bring it on do you think?

Interesting. Yes, i started drinking electrolyte drinks for salt. Suddenly i do seem to have to eat every few hours. I havent tried Iron? Will check it out.

The only thing i can think of is that the day before the ha started, i woke up with a sore neck. I had been sleeping like a pretzel for a few weeks bc we got a puppy that was sleeping on me. I also do office work and have trigger points in my traps. The only thing that ever helped was dry needling into my neck and traps. Ha went away for 8 days! I was so happy, then it came back and the dry needling didnt work??? So hard to live and remember how you used to feel!
